Lizzy's Seafood Boxes was born out of a deep passion for crafting delicious, homegrown seafood that creates lasting memories for our clients. We take great pride in ensuring that every experience leaves our customers satisfied, eager to return for more.

In 2018, my family and I immigrated to Canada with hopes of achieving the Canadian dream. My husband, an engineer, secured a job right away, while I, a trained pharmacist, set out to meet the requirements to practice here. I had to pass several board exams and align with Canadian healthcare standards. While my husband supported us at home, I focused on studying, but I struggled. After failing multiple times, I fell into a deep depression. I remember locking myself in the basement, overwhelmed with tears. My children would ask what was wrong, but all I could do was cry. It was difficult, especially as I had been an established professional back in Nigeria, and I couldn’t understand why I felt like a failure in this new country.

For the sake of my family, I knew I had to break free from this emotional state. That’s when I turned to my passion for cooking, and the idea for my seafood business was born. Although I had faced setbacks in one area, I poured my heart into the kitchen. Seafood had always been my favorite because, unlike beef, it doesn’t require as much time and effort to prepare, and I loved the simplicity of it.

After countless experiments, I found that seafood platters received an overwhelming response. The feedback was amazing, and I decided to focus on it. I spent years perfecting what would become Lizzy's signature magic sauce, which has received rave reviews across all my platforms. It’s a carefully crafted blend of fresh and dried herbs, and I’m proud to share it with you—it promises to elevate your culinary experience.
