Lizzy’s Seafood Orders Shipping Policy

  1. Seafood Delivery Processing
    All seafood orders are prepared based on the delivery date selected at checkout. Orders are dispatched 1 to 2 days after the selected delivery date to ensure products are packed fresh and according to food-safety standards.

  2. Seafood Packaging & Freshness

  • Items are shipped in insulated, food-grade seafood boxes

  • Packed with Dry ice or gel packs to maintain required cold temperatures

  • Containers are sealed to prevent leaks and protect quality

  • Each box includes safe storage instructions for immediate refrigeration or freezing upon arrival

  1. Shipping Coverage
    We currently ship within Simcoe County, the Greater Toronto Area, and across Ontario using trusted Canadian carriers experienced in perishable goods.

  2. Tracking Information
    Once your seafood order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with carrier tracking details. Customers can follow their shipment in real time.

  3. Transit Times
    Delivery timelines depend on the shipping method chosen. Expedited shipping is recommended for seafood bundles and backyard boil kits to reduce time in transit.

  4. Address Responsibility
    Customers must provide accurate and complete delivery addresses. Lizzy’s Seafood Boxes is not liable for delays caused by incorrect information.

  5. Weather & Carrier Delays
    Uncontrollable factors such as storms, extreme heat, or high seasonal demand may affect transit. The 1–2 day post-delivery dispatch rule will still apply once the order is released.

    To protect your investment:

  • Refrigerate seafood immediately

  • Freeze heat-and-eat kits if not using right away

  • Report any verified quality concerns within 24 hours with photos
